TE KUITI SHOW
COMPETITION RESULTS (From Our Oiuh Correspondent) The attendance at the Te Kuiti summer show, held on Tuesday, was equal to that of last year, and keen interest was shown in the horse events. The open hunters’ competition was won by Mrs. Merrin’s Two Step after a spirited contest, while J. Ranstead s Kismet won the maiden hunters’ even: and A. M. Samuel’s El Arish gained first place in the ladies' hunters’ competition. Results of the competitions were: Boy Rider, under 14 years.—W. Sandtr 1, R. Cotter 2. Girl Rider, under 14 years.—Nellie Houghton 1, Pat Houghton 2. Lady Rider.—Mrs. M err in 1, Miss K. Fisher 2, Miss Ida Daly 3. Pony Jumping.—R. Cotter 1, T. Verner’s Ben 2, F. Sanders 3. Lady Hunters. —A. M. Samuel’s El Arish 1, J. Johnstone’s Ranger 2, J. Ranstead’s Kismet 3. Maiden Hunters.—J. Ranstead’s Kismet 1, R. E. Timbs’s Perhaps 2, B. Lawson * The Rascal 3.
