FAREWELL AT TE KUITI

Members of the Waitomo ElectricPower Board gathered on Saturday evening to bid farewell to Mr. J. B. Grey, the board’s engineer, who left on Sunday to take up an appointment with the Hutt Valley Power Board. In presenting Mr. Grey with a handsome travelling rug the secretary, Mr. Wisnesky wished the departing officer the best of luck and happiness in his new sphere. Mr. Grey suitably responded. Later in the evening Mr. Grey was the recipient of a fine fountain pen from members of the Te Kuiti Operatic Society, Mr. A. Blackman making the presentation.
