OTOROHANGA SHOW
LARGE ENTRIES RECEIVED The secretary of the Otorohanga Agricultural and Pastoral Association, Mr. H. E. Lawrence, reports pleasing prospects for a record show next Thursday. Entries in the cattle classes are nearly double those of last year, and considerable increases are noted in the entries for horses, pigs and sheep sections. Many applications have been received for permission to conduct side-shows, and a special committee has arranged a series of horse and other events. There will be many attractions beside the actual show. The indoor and outdoor displays of home and industrial exhibits will be larger than those of any previous show. Next Thursday will be bank holiday in Otorohanga, and the majority of the stores and business houses will close at 11 o’clock.
