WAIPUKURAU STOCK SALES
(Special to THE SUN) W AIPUKURAU, Yu esday. In the Waipukurau saleyards to-day a large yarding of sheep came forward. There was a poor attendance of buyers, and many lots were passed in. Following is the range of prices:—Fat cows, £7 2s 6d to £9 12s 6d; fat bullocks, £l2; five-year-ewes, 21s to 22s 9d; foui'year ewes, 24s 3d to 28s; mixed aged ewes, 32s Id: 4-tooth ewes, 31s 9d; twotooth ewes, 31s to 34s Sd; store ewes. 12s to 14s; M. S. Romney lambs, 15s 9d to 16s 9d; Romney ewe lambs, 22s 9d; F. and F. S. D. lambs, 22s 6d; S. D. rams, 4 to llgns; Romney rams, 2 to 6gns.
