OLD OFFENDER UP AGAIN LEFT GAOL ON SATURDAY Released from gaol on Saturday, Joseph South appeared at the Police Court again this morning and was ordered to return immediately whence he had come for a period of two weeks. South, a middle-aged man, pleaded guilty to being disorderly while drunk in Karangahape Road. “This man is a general nuisance,” declared Sub-Inspector McCarthy. “Pl© was waving his arms about last evening and drawing attention to himself. When he was arrested he struggled violently and had to be handcuffed.” . South: I can’t remember anything about it. I was released on Saturday and was on my way to work. South was sentenced to 14 days’ imprisonment.
