ALLEGED OFFENCE AT HERNE BAY William Gibson, a motor-driver, and Roy Gordon C&pel, a motor- painter, both aged 17, were charged at the Police Court yesterday with committing rape on a 17-year-old f*irl Herne Bav on Sunday, January Pleas of not guilty were entered by Mr. F. J. Newbery for Capel. and Mr. O. H. Wallace for Gibson, and the two youths were committed to the Supreme Court for trial.
