NEW DAIRY FACTORY (From Our Own Correspondent) KAiKOHC. Saturday. An enthusiastic meeting of intending and prospective suppliers to the proposed new co-operative dairy factory to be established at Kaikohe was held last night in the Oddfellows’ Hall. Mr. Guy, chairman of the provisional board of directors, presiding, stated that prospective suppliers had already signed up for 2,000 cows. This would warrant the erection of a factory capable of handling 200 tons of butter. It was decided unanimously that “The Kaikohe Co-

operative Dairy Cbm nan y Limited," with headquarters-at Kaikohe be formed.

The provisional directors went into committee and instructed the architect to prepare plans and specifications within three weeks, and advertise for tenders. The factory is to be completed and ready to commence operations on August 1 next.
