Radio Brings Aid For Injured Man

Accident at Light-house Press Association WELLINGTON, To-day. 4 "kX being signalled from the Brothers Lighthouse that there had been an accident and that a doctor was wanted, the collier Kaimai sent a wireless message to Wellington last night. The Tutanekai had arrived in port in the morning but the crew had disbanded. Station 2YA broadcast a message, and by 5.55 the Tutanekai had sufficient of her complement to put to sea with a doctor. On arriving at the lighthouse it was found that Assistant Brown had a fractured nose and a lacerated wrist, the result of being struck by a winch-handle while hauling up coal previously left by the Tutanekai. He was brought to the Wellington Hospital.
