URGE HOUSE BURNED
FIRE AT ARAPOHUE (Special to THE SUN) DARGAVILLE, To-day. The 10-roomed house of Mr. P. D. Speedy, at Arapohue, was totally destroyed by fire yesterday. Neighbours attacked the blaze, but could save only the outbuildings. Mrs. Paul, of Auckland, a daughter, and Mr. Speedy, junr., alone were at home, Mr. and Mrs. Speedy being at the Paparoa Show. They hurried home by car. The house had been occupied only since December.
