MANY APPOINTMENTS

METHODIST CHURCH CONTROL At the annual conference of the New Zealand Methodist Church, which continued this morning, a home missionary was recommended for Pukekohe. Paeroa and Hauraki Plains are to be divided into ministry and home mission station respectively. Probationers will be appointed to Morrinsville, Huntly, Masterton, Greymouth and Hawarden. A home missionary will be appointed to Picton. Ordained ministers will be appointed to Port Albert, Matamata, Gonville (Wanganui), and Wellington South (second). Waipawa and Taihape were reduced to the status of home mission stations.
