MT. ALBERT GRAMMAR SPORTS EVENTS AT TEPID BATHS Hundreds watched the annual swimming sports of the Mount Albert Grammar School this afternoon at the Tepid Baths. Pleats occLipied the greater part of the afternoon, as many as 10 being swum in one event. Brownlee, in the seniors, was in form and seemed certain of championship honours. EPSOM GIRLS’ SPORTS CARNIVAL AT SHELLY BEACH The annual swimming sports of the Epsom Girls’ Gramfiar School were held at the Shelly Beach baths this afternoon. Most of the heats were swum off this morning and visitors were treated to some close finishes in the finals this afternoon. There was a considerable increase on last year’s entries. . The Upper School championships was won by M. Smith, with G. Grange second and E. Griffiths third. A. Marsh won the Middle School championship, while A. Thompson managed the Lower School event.
