SHARKEY AND STRIBLING TRAIN (Australian and N.Z. Press Associationj NEW YORK, Wednesday. Stribling and Sharkey, heavy-weight boxers, are strenuously training at Miami, Florida, for their bout on Wednesday next. Both men have failed to impress observers in sparring with partners. At the same time they are working hard in view of the possibility of obtaining the elimination championship. Sharkey boxed one round each against three partners to-day. He was fast on his feet, but he left himself open to body punishment. Stribling boxed two rounds each with two partners. He showed a lack of control of his left and was himself a mark for right-hand punches to the jaw.
