DAMAGES CLAIM SUCCEEDS INJURED MAN AWARDED £2,038 After hearing evidence which occupied two full days in the Supreme Court a jury returned a verdict in favour of Arthur Jack Woods, chauffeur (Mr. Gould), who had claimed a total of £2,55 4 from Dr. J. F. Richards. Plaintiff was riding a motor-cycle and collided with Dr. Richards’s motor car at the intersection of Green Lane and Re mu era Road on March 11.1925. Mr. Justice Kennedy allowed plaintiff £1,750 general damages and £2SS 13s special damages. Costs were also awarded plaintiff.
