AIR DIRECTOR PLEASED

EFFICIENCY OF PUPILS (Special to THE SUN) WELLINGTON, To-day. A pleased man is Major T. M. Wilkes, Director of Aviation, and the cause of his satisfaction is the showing made at Wigram by the nine cadets who are in training for air-force pilot’s tickets. These men, who will return to their various districts on March 3 and instruct the local members of fiying clubs, have shown great aptitude, and the Director of Aviation is particularly pleased, because one man who last year made an indifferent beginning is this year at the top of his class. No decision has yet been made as to the length of training which the men are to receive, or when further nominations will be asked, but the question will receive attention at early date.
