MANY PATHS TO PEACE
HOW KELLOGG PACT WILL HELP RESOLUTION AT OTTAWA (Australian and N.Z. Press Association) (United Service) Reed. 12.25 p.m. OTTAWA, Tuesday. A resolution that it is expedient for Parliament to approve the Kellogg Multilateral Peace Treaty was moved by the Prime Minister, Mr. W. L. Mackenzie King, to-day.
“Surely if there is such a thing as national honour the treaty must play a big part in the future history of the world,” said the Prime Minister. “The treaty goes a step further than the League of Nations in renouncing war at all times. The work of the League for peace and disarmament is greatly assisted by the Treaty.
“There is no royal road to peace, but there are many paths, and the treaty is one of these.”
