WATER FOR ORAKEI
TEMPORARY LINE TO BE LAID Orakei area, which never has had a satisfactory water supply, has been suffering inconvenience again recently and urgent measures are being taken to-day to give relief. A temporary pipe-line is being constructed across the old bridge at the city end of the Orakei Basin and will be connected up with the supply pipes <in the old settlement. When the new I bridge is built over the mouth of the I basin a permanent pipe-line will be ; laid. The waterworks department of the !
