Sanders Cup Comes Back to Auckland
UUVIX tv X IUVUUIIIU AVALON’S THIRD WIN final contest at akaroa (Special to THE SUE) AKAROA, Today. The sixth race for the Sanders Cup this afternoon was won by Avalon, Auckland, by 48 seconds, from Clyde, the Wellington representative. Avalon and Clyde were even with two wins each until yesterday, when iiileen (Otasot, won the fifth race of the series, making another contest necessary. With three wins to his credit, A. Willetts, Avalon’s skipper, will thus bring the Sanders Cup back to Auckland.
