BOYS' NARROW ESCAPE
SLIDING ON MOUNT EGMONT Press Association STRATFORD, To-day. Two lads had a remarkable escape on Mount Kgmont yesterday. They were glissading on hard snow and, losing their ice axes, were powerless to stop. They ran 2.000 ft. before being pulled up by soft snow. But for this they must have been dashed to death.
