ANOTHER LOAN PROPOSED OLD FUNDS EXHAUSTED The old £280,000 loan raised for drainage purposes being nearly exhausted, the City Council has decided to seek sanction for the raising of another £ 100,000 with the prospect of another similar sum being raised when the new loan is spent. The city engineer considers that the items included in the £25,146 are urgent.
