NEGLIGENT DRIVING
LORRY HITS GRADER DRIVER FINED £2 (From* Our Own Correspondent) PUKEKOHE, To-day. A collision between a motor lorry and a two-horse grader on the Great South Road at Ramarama had its sequel in court yesterday, when Edward Wyatt, driver of a lorry, was charged with negligent driving. An employee of the Franklin County Council, James Flay, said that he was operating a grader on the left side of the road when the lorry struck the machine in the rear, wrecking it. Wyatt, who failed to appear, was fined £2.
