The boxing, which will be under the auspices of the Northern Boxing Association, will include displays by leading Auckland professionals and amateurs, including Matt Hatton, Jim Broadfoot, Frank Taylor, Purdie, McLean and Thompson. Tommy Mclnnes has cancelled his return to Australia en route for Scotland, and has decided to accept the offer of the Otago Boxing Association for a match with Lachie Macdonald on February 23, and he leaves for Dunedin on Sunday evening. He is training at Matt Hatton’s gymnasium. The amateur preliminaries for the Leckie-Hatton bout are as follow: Johns v. Purdie, R. Fraei v. McLaclilan, Thompson v. Shadbolt, Foster v. Mould.
