YOUTH FOUND GUILTY

Guilty, with a recommendation of leniency on account of prisoner’s youth, was the verdict of the jury which heard the evidence against Roy Gordon Capel in the Supreme Court yesterday afternoon on charges of breaking and entering the shop of J. R. Hebden, Otahuhu, on December 29 and stealing clothing valued at £33 16s 3d.

Capel broke in with two companions who had pleaded guilty. One made a statement implicating Capel. The jury was absent half an hour. Mr. Justice Blair remanded prisoner for sentence on Saturday:
