COASTAL MOVEMENTS— The Waimea, which leaves Auckland at 5 o’clock this afternoon Tor Gisborne and Napier, returns here next Sunday. The Waipiata, from Bluff, Dunedin, Oamaru and Timaru, left Lyttelton at 10 o’clock last evening for Wellington and Auckland. She is due here on Friday, and after discharge loads at Auckland for Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and Timaru. The Kartigi, which left Greymouth at 11 o’clock on Sunday morning for Wellington, Gisborne and Auckland, is due here early next week. The Katoa sails from Lyttelton this evening for Auckland direct, where she is due on Friday. After discharge, the vessel proceeds to Tokomaru Bay to load for Lyttelton. The Waipahi is sailing from Lyttelton on Thursday for Wellington, where she fills up for Auckland. She is due here next Monday. The Kaimanawa is sailing from Westport at noon to-day for Auckland, where she is expected on Friday. The Opihi was to leave Wellington last evening for Portland, where she is to load cement for Wellington. The Gunbar arrived at Auckland this morning from the East Coast, via Whangarei, and berthed at the King’s Wharf. She sails at 11 a.m. to-morow on her return trip to Gisborne, Napier and East Coast, bays.

The Awahou is sailing from Auckland at 4 o'clock this afternoon for Hicks Bay, Tokamaru Bay and Gisborne. The Pukeko arrived here last evening from the East Coast, via Portland, and berthed at the King’s Wharf. She sails at 2 o’clock this afternoon for East Coast bays, Napier and Wairoa. The Gisborne Sheepfarmers’ steamer Tiroa left Auckland shortly after noon to-day on her return trip to Gisborne and Hicks Bay. The Kaponga is due at Greymouth tomorrow for loading, thence she fills up at Westport for Auckland. She is due here early next week. The Kaitangata, from Greymouth, via Westport and Napier, is expected to arrive at Auckland during the week-end. The Taniwha, which sails at midnight to-night for Paeroa, returns to Auckland at 6.30 a.m. on Thursday. The Claymore, sailing at 10.30 o’clock this evening for Whangarei, returns to Auckland at 7 a.m. on Thursday. The Omana left shortly after noon today for Waiwera, Mahurangi and Warkworth, and is due back at 1.30 a.m. tomorrow. The Rangitoto, due here at 1 o’clock this afternoon from Thames, sails at 8 a.m. on Thursday for the Great Barrier. The Hauiti, which is due at Auckland at 2 o’clock this afternoon from Colville and Coromandel, leaves at 3 p.m. tomorrow for the Thames. The Ivawau arrives here this afternoon at 2.30 o’clock from Matakana and Gulf ports, and sails to-morrow at 11 a.m. for Kawau, Takatu, Ti Point, Little and Big Omaha. The Waipu is due here at 4 a.m. tomorrow from Kerepeehi, and sails at 3 p.m. on Thursday on ner return trip. The Ngapuhi, due at Auckland at 7.30 a. to-morrow from Tauranga, sails at b. p.m. on Thursday on her return trip.
