HELD BENEATH WATER BY FALLING ROCK-LEDGE, BOY IS DROWNED IN N.S.W.
SYDNEY, Monday. James Curran, aged 16, met a terrible death. While bathing at the Woronora River he was preparing to dive from a ledge of rock when it snapped off and threw Curran and a companion into the water, falling on top of them. The second lad managed to scramble clear, but Curran was held down by the rock and drowned. _______________________
