GERMAN CASES CURED

REPORT BY PROFESSORS Times Cables LONDON, {Sunday. The Munich correspondent of “The Times” says an important announcement in connection with the radiological treatment of cancer in women is contained in a report presented to the League of Nations Cancer Committee uy Professors Diederlein and Voltz, who are members of the committee, and the heads of the Munich Gynaecological Hospital. They state they have treated. 4,000 cases of cancer in 15 years by a combination of radium rays and X-rays. They declare that surgical operations are now obsolete. From 15 to 20 per cent, of the cases were cured; that is, they have remained free from the disease for five years, although they had previously been pronounced hopeless.
