THEIR SILVER WEDDING (Australian and y. Z. A asocial ion J CAPETOWN, Sunday. Tlie Earl of Atlilone, Governor-Gen-eral of South Africa, and his wife. Princess Alice, received a massive Georgian silver tea and coffee service and a cheque for .£5,000 as the nation’s gift on the occasion of their silver wedding morrow. The Prime Minister, General HertZ3g, addressing a brilliant gathering at Government House, paid a tribute te the courteous loveableness of their Excellencies. He said they had proved that it is possible for each of the great sections of the community to cherish its own pride and remain true to itself without hurting others.
