RODNEY SHOW HELD

RECORDS ESTABLISHED

Warkworth was en fete on Saturday. Before a big attendance, the Minister of Health, the Hon. A. J. Stallworthy, declared the Rodney Agricultural Society’s Jubilee Show officially opened. The attendance was easily a record and the 1,100 entries in all the classes established another record. Twentytwo silver cups were awarded. In the live stock section, J. F. Lawrie won the Governor-General’s Cup. Excellent quality was exhibited in the stock classes and the stall displays were well up to standard.
