WOMAN PLEADS GUILTY
rrcss Association DUNEDIN, Thursday. j In the Supreme Court to-day, before ' Mr. Justice Adams, Isabella Murch : was charged that, with the intentior. ( to defraud the Citizens’ Finance Com- j pany by a false pretence, she obtained £36 10s by representing that certain household goods belonged to her and ( had been bought and paid for by her. , , She was further charged with obtaining from Henry Divers £35 5s fcv re- j ; presenting that certain household : goods belonged to her and were free of encumbrance. A stay of proceedings was agreed to the first charge. and accused pleaded guilty to the second charge and was remanded for sentence.
