GOITRE IN SCHOOLS
MEDICAL INVESTIGATION
Special investigation of the incidence of goitre among school children in the Dominion is being carried out by Dr. Shore, medical officer of health. Dr. Shore intends to visit schools in the Thames-Coromandel-Waihi area in about 10 days’time, according to advice received by the Auckland Education Board from the director of school hygiene.
