HON. H. ATMORE TO MEET EDUCATION BOARD WILL INSPECT SCHOOLS “He is very wise to get into touch with the people,” said the chairman of the Education Board, Mr. A. Burns, to-day, wljen advice was received that the Hon. H. Atmore, Minister of Education, would meet the board on Friday morning. The board decided to hold a special meeting on Friday to meet the Minister, and to discuss educational subjects, including unemployment among teachers. The Minister will arrive in Auckland on Thursday night. He will inspect schools on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, including the Richmond Road building, which is in a dilapidated condition.
