MR. AMERY HAS HEARD NOTHING WOULD MEAN CHEAPER RADIUM (Australian and N.Z. Press Association) ( U nitcd S ervicej Reed. 1.5 p.m. LONDON, Monday. In the House of Commons to-day, Mr. L. S. Amery, Secretary of State for the Colonies, told Sir Robert Thomas that no information existed regarding promising deposits of uranium in Australa, and therefore the question of arranging their development, having in view the present artificial price of radium, did not arise.
