KING GAINS STRENGTH

ONLY WEEKLY BULLETINS IN FUTURE OPTIMISM AT PALACE (United P.A.—By Telegraph — Copyright) (Australian, and N.Z. Press Association) Reed. 12.26 p.m. LONDON, Wednes. A bulletin issued to-day states that the King continues to gain, strength slowly. His progress is satisfactory. The bulletin is signed by Sir Hugh Rigby and Lord Dawson. It is probable that there will only be a weekly bulletin in future. There is an air of confidence at the palace, and his Majesty is now regarded as being on the high road to convalescence.

According to a British Official Wireless message, the Queen and Princess Mary yesterday visited St. Paul’s Cathedral, and inspected the progress being made with the work for the preservation of the fabric.
