MUNICIPAL ROLLS

MAIN RECORD CLOSES The main municipal roll for the approaching city elections will close at 5 p.m. to-day. It contains something over 40,000 names, ond has had very few recent additions. The names will start to pile up when the supplementary rolls are commenced. For seven clays from to-morrow the main roll will be open for inspection, and the printing will commence almost immediately. The elections for local bodies, including the City Council, Harbour Board and Hospital Board, will all take place on the first Wednesday in May.
