SYDNEY CELEBRATES AUSTRALIA DAY
(Australian and N.Z. Press Associationj SYDNEY, Sunday.
Australia Day was celebrated in the Common wealth yesterday. The weather in Sydney for the anniversary holiday was fine, but windy until the afternoon, when a shower fell. Races at Randwick. a regatta on the harbour, the Sheffield Shield cricket match and bowling championships attracted many people. The holiday resorts were crowded.
