MR. WALSH RESIGNS

MINER’S PRESIDENT ILL (Australian and N.Z. Press Association) LONDON, Saturday. It was announced at the annual conference of the Lancashire and Cheshire Miners’ Federation that the president. Mr. Stephen Walsh, M.P., had resigned his candidature for the Ince division of the electorate in consequence of illhealth. Mr. Walsh has been suffering from influenza since January 4. He was re-elected to the presidency of the federation.
