“PESTERED BY POLICE”
RELEASED MAN’S ALLEGATION (Australian and N.Z. Press Association) BRISBANE, To-day. Gordon Franks, who was charged, as James Kelly, with the murder of Frederick Walter at Boonjie, has been discharged, the police stating that they are convinced that the man before the court is not Kelly. Franks said that he admitted that he was the wanted man because the police pestered him.
