HOLIDAY CRICKET

AUCKLAND TEAM TO PLAY AT HAMILTON ANNIVERSARY DAY MATCH The following team has been selected by Mr. E. C. Beale to play Waikato at Hamilton on Anniversary Hay: C. E. Beechey, H. Christian, H. Hetherington, H. R. Kaspar, C. W. Lawrie, C. J. Nolan, IT. T. Pearson, C. A. Snedden (captain), W. F. Stoupe, C. P. Wade, E. W. Wells. The team is in no sense a representative eleven; in fact, it is not even a senior club side, but in view of club competitions being played in Auckland on Tuesday, it is as strong a holiday team as could be got together. It contains a fair proportion of young cricketers, reinforced by more mature players.
