MAN SLIGHTLY WOUNDED Press Association INVERCARGILL, Friday. A farm labourer, Allan Lamb, aged 25, appeared in the Police Court this morning, before Mr. G. Cruickshank, S.M., on a charge of assaulting Robert Edward Bulling, at Rimu, on the morn-, ing of January IS, with a hedge slasher, so as to cause him actual bodily harm. The wounds Inflicted on Bulling were comparatively slight, and it was suggested by the police that if the magistrate thought it advisable the indictable charge should be replaced by one of common assault. This was agreed to. After hearing the evidence the magistrate convicted accused and released him on probation for two years.
