VISITORS TO BAY OF ISLANDS
Air. and Airs. A. Alatheson and Air. I Allen, of Scotland, who are members of 1 Sir Harry Lauder’s fishing partv. are i trout-fishing at Taupo. They will return to the Bay of Islands on February | 16 and remain on the fishing grounds for ■; about 14 days. Colonel and Airs. C. A. K. Johnson, England, who arc at present fishing the Tongariro River, intend spending three j weeks on the fishing grounds off Cape | Brett. Dr. and Airs. J. A. Watson, Auckland, are leaving Auckland, and intend spending a holiday at Russell. Mr. A. Dore, pathologist at the Wellington Hospital. has telegraphed to Otehei saying that he is coming to the Bay of Islands with a friend for the biggame fishing. The squadron is due at Russell about January 29, and preparations are being made with a view to giving the representatives of the navy a good time while at the Bay of Islands.
