According to the “Daily News," the Prince will investigate the distress among the 200,000 unemployed miners and their families. liis Itoyal Highness will visit the homes of the miners, inspect the derelict collieries, and observe the stagnation into which some areas have sunk, before making a further broadcast appeal for funds. The Prince has intimated that he does not want any civic receptions or ceremonies.
