THEN BEATEN TO DEATH BARBARITY IN INDIA (Australian and N.Z. Press Association) CALCUTTA, Tuesday. A party of Bhils. convinced that the burial of au earthen doll by four women had been the cause of an outbreak of cholera, hanged all four of them by their heels. They then beat the women till they died.
