MR. BRAKE NOT SEEKER (From Our Own Correspondent) - WHANGAREI, Tuesday. The first Labour Mayor of Whangarei, Mr. L. J. Brake, announced on Monday night that, for business reasons, he did not propose to become a candidate for the Mayoralty again. He said he might possibly be a candidate for the position of councillor
