FRANKTON LEVELCROSSING FATALITY CHARGE OF INTOXICATION (From Out Own Correspondent) HAMILTON, To-day. ' T he level-crossing fatality at Forest Take Road on December 1, when Alexander John Hamilton was killed, was a -ain the subject of Court proceedings to-day. when Patrick Deegan „-as charged with driving a car while intoxicated, and thereby causing the death of Hamilton. The evidence was similar to that given at the inquest on Monday. b accused, who was represented by Sir. J- F. Straps, pleaded not guilty, reserved his defence, and was committed to the Hamilton Supreme Court I'er trial, bail being allowed as before.
