(Australian and N.Z. Press Association) SYDNEY, Tuesday. At the avool sales to-day there was strong competition, particularly from Japanese buyers. The market was firm and prices were equal to the best rates of the previous day. Greasy Merino sold to 313 d. The number of bales sold totalled 11,576. FOG DELAYS SALES (Australian and N.Z. Press Association) Reed. 9.5 a.m. LONDON, Tuesday. The wool sales have been postponed on account, of fog.
