CUMBERLAND DUE THURSDAY.— To commence loading for Home, the Federal steamer Cumberland arrived at Napier yesterday from Timaru. She is to leave Napier to-morrow for Auckland and is due here on Thursday. The N Z Shipping Company will act as the local agents. PORT BOWEN FROM LIVERPOOL.— Heather Roberton, Ltd., advise that the C. and D. Line’s steamer Port Bowen is expected to arrive at Auckland on January ,-.l from Liverpool. Tie vessel is bringing general cargo for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin.

TOFUA SAILS SATURDAY.—At 11 a.m. on Saturday the Union Company’s Island passenger steamer Tofua is to be dispatched on her usual monthly voyage to ‘Fiji, Tonga, and Samoa.

IHUMATA LEAVES NEWCASTLE— Cabled news has been received that the Lamb steamer Ihumata left Newcastle on January 17 for New’ Plymouth and Wangpnui. She js due at New Plymouth today and at Wanganui on January 25.

EASTER TIME-TABLE. —The Union Company advises that owing to March 29 being Good Friday, the Mannganui will leave Auckland and the Marama will leave Wellington for Sydney on Thursday, March 2S.

THE PORT FREMANTLE.—En route from London to Suva, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Napier, the Commonwealth and Dominion Line's motor-ship Port Fremantle is reported to have reached Colon last Friday.

MIDDLESEX LEAVES LIVERPOOL— The Federal Line steamer Middlesex left Liverpool last Saturday with general merchandise from West Coast ports of Great Britain for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin. She is due at Auckland on February 26. The New Zealand Shipping Company are the local agents.

TREGENNA REPORTS. The Hain Line steamer Tregenna reports by wureless that she will arrive from Halifax on Thursday evening. The vessel is under charter to the Canadian National Steamships. and she has general merchandise for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Timaru and Dunedin. WAIOTAPU FROM EAST.—The local olhce of the Union Company has been advised that the cargo steamer Waiotapu, from Calcutta, Penang, Singapore, and Newcastle, arrived at Lyttelton at 9 a.m. yesterday, and leaves on Friday for Timaru, Dunedin, Bluff, Wellington, and Auckland. She is due here early next month.

HAURAKI REPORTS.—A radio message received by the local office of the Union Company states that the motorship Hauraki is expected to arrive in the stream at Auckland on Fridav from the Pacific Coast. After discharge here, the vessel proceeds to Welllington, Melbourne, Adelaide, and Sydney to complete.

KILCREDANE SAILI NG— Henderson and Macfarlane advise that the steamer Kilcreda.ne leaves Auckland at 5 p.m. today for Lyttelton, where she completes her discharge of superphosphates from Morocco. From Lyttelton the vessel proceeds to Westport for bunkers, thence she goes to Makatea to load for South Australia.

STEAMERS FROM HALIFAX.—The Canadian National steamer Canadian Conqueror, which left Halifax on January 4, is reported to have cleared Panama on January 16 in continuation of her voyage to Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Timaru, Dunedin and Bluff. She is due at Auckland on February 14. She is to be followed from Halifax by the Canadian Challenger, which is to sail next Friday for Auckland, Wellington, Lytteiton, Dunedin, Bluff and Napier. The Canadian Britisher on February 25 for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin.
