COASTAL MOVEMENTS— The Gunbar, which left Auckland yesterday for Gisborne, Napier and East Coast bays, returns here next Tuesday. The Tiroa left here shortly after noon to-day for Hicks Bay and Gisborne.
The Awahou sails from Auckland at 5 o’clock this afternoon for East Coast bays and Gisborne. The Westport Coal Company’s collier Canopus, which is due at Auckland at 7 a.m. to-morrow from Westport, will berth at the King’s Wharf. The Akaroa arrived here at 8 p.m. yesterday from Maraetai, and sails again at 10 o’clock to-night for Ngunguru. The Waipiata arrived here last evening from Southern ports and berthed at the Prince’s Wharf. On Friday she leaves Auckland for Wellington, Lyttelton, Timaru, Oamaru, Dunedin and Bluff. The Katoa, from Bluff and Dunedin, left Lyttelton at 8.30 p.m. yesterday for Wellington and Auckland. After discharge here the vessel proceeds to Portland to load cement for Wellington and Lyttelton. The Kaituna is at present loading at Greymouth for Auckland. She was originally to have loaded for New Plymouth and Auckland. The Waipahi is leaving Auckland at 3 o’clock this afternoon for Lyttelton direct and Dunedin. The Kaimanawa was shifted to Chelsea Wharf this morning. She leaves here on for W r estport to load again for Auckland. The Kurow is to load at Dunedin on Friday, thence Lyttelton, Wellington and Picton for Auckland. The Wairaea, sailing at 1 o’clock this afternoon for Gisborne and Napier, returns to Auckland on Sunday next. The Cornwall leaves Auckland on Friday at 5 p.m. for Wellington, Lyttelton, Port Chalmers and New Plymouth to complete discharge of Liverpool cargo. The Port Pirie, in continuation of her voyage from New York, leaves here at 6 p.m. to-day for Napier, ‘Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin. The Waiuku, which sailed this morning for Waiheke and Motuihi, returns again at six o’clock this evening. The Rangitoto arrives at 6 p.m. to-day from Thames. She sails again at S a.m. on Thursday for the Great Barrier. The Hauiti is due at Auckland at halfpast eight this evening from Coromandel a*nd Colville. She sails again at 9.30 a.m. to-morrow for Thames. The Omana arrives at eight o’clock this evening from Warkworth. She sails again at 10 a.m. to-morrow for Manly. The Kawau arrives at S p.m. to-day from Matakana. She is to be dispatched again at 10 a.m. to-morrow for Kawau, Takatu, Ti Point and Little and Big Omaha. The Taniwha pails at eight o’clock this evening for Paeroa. She is due back again early on Thursday morning. The Claymore leaves for "Whangarei at six o'clock this evening. She is expected back again early on Thursday morning. The Waipu is due at Auckland at ten o’clock to-morrow morning from Kerepeehi. She is to bo dispatched again at 11 p.m. on Thursday on the return trip. The Toa leaves Auckland to-day* for Whakatane. The Otimai sailed from here this morning for Opotiki and Kutarere. The Ngapuhi, due here at 7.30 a.m. tomorrow from Tauranga, sails on Thursday at 6.30 p.m. on her return trip. The Apanui arrives at Auckland at 10 a.m. to-morrow from Parenga and bavs and leaves ,at 4 p.m. on Friday for Mercury Bay and Tairua.
