DIXIELAND CABARET
The Dixieland Cabaret will be the scene of another happy dance this even - ing, when the usual Monday carnival night will be held. The Dixieland famous dance band will play latest jazz numbers. A special dancing attraction has been arranged for Dixieland on Tuesday, January 29, when an anniversary bail and ashes of roses carnival will be held. There will be ashes of roses novelties, favours, and 20 prizes.
King Vidor is now engaged on an all-negro feature production for Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, “Hallelujah." It is to be given an ambitious presentation, and will be filmed ‘ talkie.’'
