Objection to the Belgium Street extension was raised by a member, who said the hill was far too steep on both sides of Karangahape Bond. Twentyears might be held up on the hill, holding on their brakes, and half of the cars would stall on restarting. Mr. F. G. Farrell: I would avoid it, or have very big bumpers back and front. , The association deemed to write to the City Council urging the speedingup of the suggested work.
