ANOTHER MAN CHARGED SENTENCE ON TUESDAY Associated with the schemes of William Lawrence Bowler, who was convicted on a fraud charge yesterday, Albert Joseph Hill, a cook, aged 41, appeared at the Police Court this morning Hill admitted a charge of making raise representations to defraud the Returned Soldiers’ Association of 17s 6d. Chief-Detective Hammond reminded hie Court of Bowler’s plan by which, argied with a faked receipt for £ l 15s, he had succeeded in gaining 17j* 6d from the Association as a subsidy. Hill the man who had made ’out the receipt. Mr. Hammond suggested that Hill oe remanded for sentence until January --as there were three other men awaitsentence having been convicted on tnarges relating to a similar fraud.
