(From Our Own Correspondent) OPOTIKI, Tuesday. A youth, Henry ITeriwini. 19, was charged before justices to-dav with stealing a bicycle, valued at £3. Mr. V . E. Parkinson missed the machine on December 31. He recognised it to-day, and informed the police, who arrested accused. Accused denied the charge at. first, but later admitted the theft, and pleaded guilty to-day. He was sentenced to 14 dav s’ imprisonment.
